Review:

It took me a long time to really get into this book. Not to say it wasn't good at first, but I guess I was just expecting another Luke, Han, and Leia adventure. It's a different kind of Star Wars story, but it's a good one. By the time it's over, you feel like you know the new characters as well as you do your old favorites.

But I do have a few gripes. One thing is I'm not to crazy about Stackpole's writing style, he doesn't use many "he said"s or "she said"s, which makes it hard to know who is talking. Another thing is the nicknames for TIEs. That just seemed kinda cheesy to me. And the names for droids. Don't geta me wrongo, I love droids, but I think they should stick with their designations.

Overall, this is a really good book. But there is still one thing about it that bugs me: a Twi'lek and Human couple. Eww! Man, I would hate to see what their kid would look like!
