Some things that I enjoy

Anime

Anime is the Japanese word for Animation. The word is fast becoming a catchword in certain circles, and I wouldn't be surprised to find it someday in an English Dictionary.

By the way, I am also presently studying Japanese.

These are some of my favorite Anime Pages:

Anime Web Turnpike. Your Number 1 Guide to the Anime and Manga Internet World!
Mizuno's SailorStars Graphics Area. Sailor Moon pics!

Books

I started reading at a very early age, around six I think. Besides the mandatory textbooks at school I would read the classic Dick and Janes of my mom, mom's magazines, comic books, among others, just for practice (it didn't matter if I didn't understand everything).

These people are my favorite authors:

Stephen King. His writing style is the most original and his stories the most engaging I have ever seen. I envy his gift. I have a copy of almost all of his books.
Dave Barry. I was introduced to the works of Mr. Barry by reading the Reader's Digest. I have recently started to collect his books also.
The Late Isaac Asimov. Truly one of the greatest minds this world has yet produced. He has written books on every major listing of the Dewey Decimal Sytem! What a mind....

Movies

I have always held a great fascination for movies. The earliest movies I remember watching was when my family and I went to the theaters and saw Star Wars, and Superman. That was way back in '78 or '79 or something. Since then I've been going off and on to the theaters. When we got our first [gasp!] Betamax my movie-watching stats rose! When University came along my movie-going stats rose. I must have seen hundreds and hundreds of movies by now.

Television

TV addict. That's me. When I was in grade school I could tell you the time slot and channel of every major television show on the air. Heck, I could still do it these days, but I can only do shows from those days ("CHIPS": Thursdays, 7:30pm, channel 7)! Ha ha ha!
Well really I do get a whole lot of entertainment from television... I don't know what I'll do without it. I'll probably die of boredom.

These are some of my favorite television shows:

The X-Files. Way cool! This show deserves to be Number 1!
Star Trek. I became a Trekkie in high school. I am still a Trekkie. Star Trek: The Original Series and Star Trek: The Next Generation are my two favorite series. In my humble opinion, Deep Space Nine sucks. I am sorry to say though that I have yet to see an episode of Voyager (they have yet to show it in the Philippines or in Japan.)
E.R. A whole bunch of my maternal relatives are doctors and nurses. The medical profession is a family tradition, I guess. I have a lot of respect for people of medicine; I have a deep-seated interest in medicine myself (it's in the genes, I guess). E.R. more than fulfills my need for entertainment!
SeaQuest 2032. It's Science Fiction, the computer graphics are cool, plus it has loads and loads of submarines!
The Simpsons. D-oh!
Dexter's Laboratory. My favorite cartoon today! I've always wanted a lab of my own!

Fast Food

Fast food is one of the best things humanity has yet invented. And eating it is one of my favorite pastimes! Incredibly though, I still weigh in at 145 pounds (I am not kidding)! At 5'11", that still makes me about 10 lbs. underweight!

These are some of the yummiest fast food joints around:

McDonald's. With their ever-popular Happy Meals and variants thereof, I always go back for more!
Wendy's. Back in College, the fast food joint of choice! Inexpensive, and quite tasty too!

Love is great!
