Cindy meets Betsi

On March 13th of this year I received an e-mail message from a young lady named Betsi who had visited my page. She wrote to me to let me know that she enjoyed the site and to tell me that we had a lot in common. She too was a bbw, loved cats and had auburn hair (although hers was natural). We became e-mail pen-pals writing to each other 4 to 5 times a week. We quickly became friends. We came to realize that Betsi lived very close to some property we own in Upstate New York. Property we hope to build our "dream house" on some day. My husband and I visit that area as much as we can. We had planned a trip to New York at Christmastime, but couldn't go because my husband was sick. So we rescheduled the trip for April. It's funny how things work out sometimes.

When I told Betsi of our plans to take a trip to her area she graciously invited us over for dinner. Both my husband and I were very excited to meet Betsi and her cat Crybaby. I brought all kinds of pictures with me to share with Betsi. Pictures of our wedding, pictures of our cat, all kinds of pictures. I was so happy to be meeting a new friend. I couldn't wait!!! Finally, on the second day of our trip, the time had come.

Betsi made Brian and I a wonderful spaghetti supper. After supper we looked through all the pictures and talked and laughed. It was like we had known each other all our lives, we never ran out of things to say. I also got the chance to meet some of Betsi friends and their children. Everyone was so nice. At around 11:00 or so, we decided we had to let Betsi get some rest. The thought of leaving saddened me, I was having so much fun. After giving Betsi a great big hug, we were on our way back to the hotel. I was sad, but I was also very happy that I had had the chance to meet such a wonderful person.

Betsi and I are still writing to each other 4 to 5 times a week. Betsi even sent me a virtual flower bouquet on Mother's Day because I was Geo's (our cat)mom. Now if that isn't thougthful, I don't know what is. Just think, if it wasn't for the Internet, this wonderful woman (and her cute kitty) might not have been a part of my life. I might have missed out on a great friendship that will last a life time!!!!

Here's me and my wonderful friend Betsi

Sorry, guys Betsi is involved with someone at this time.
