Did you hear me in your dreams, softly calling out your name?
Could you sense the love I felt and did you feel the same?
I found myself in your dreams, last night half past ten
And I found it was too late to leave by then
I don't know how I found my way
I tried to leave, I really did but how peacefully you lay
You didn't hear my footsteps, deep into the night?
Was I hard to miss...have you lost your sight?
I thought for sure you'd seen me
I thought I'd found the key
The one to your heart
At least it was a start
But I guess you missed me, I must of slipped by
Why I blended in, I'll never know why
I'll try again tomorrow, I'll find you in your dreams
Try and remember things aren't always as they seem
So sweet dreams when they find you
