Impatience and persistence gets you certain things in life until yourealize
it only gets you the shallow things and you lose the most importantthings
in life when you use impatience and persistance. ---Michael Rock
A boy has a tattered old teddy bear, ripped at the seams, a buttonmissing
for its eye, and some of it's stuffing missing.
The boy's parents didn't like the ugly little toy and tried to bribethe
little boy with brand new, nice looking toys. But the boy wouldn'taccept
anything, all he wanted was his tattered old teddy bear.
The boy's parents finally game up and let him keep his tattered oldteddy
bear not realizing the important lesson that children know. The wisdomof
children not spoiled by the time of growing up.
It doesn't matter what the toy or teddy bear looks like. You love
something for what's inside, not for what it looks on the outside. Children
are not ignorant, just truly wise.
