Personality: Mitsukake does not talk much. But if he does speak, it is usually something very profound or very witty. He became a doctor because of his ability to heal, but gave up and became a hermit when he could not save the life of his fiancee, Shoka. His weakness is that he cannot leave animals, sick people nor children unattended. He would sacrifice himself in order to save lives, regardless if they are friends or foes. Another devoted lover, as he still holds feelings for his fiancee till his last breath.

Background: Being the town doctor, he was faraway in another village attending his patient when Shoka was having a high fever. By the time he rushed back, everythings was too late. From then on, he isolated himself from others as he believed that he had no qualification to become a doctor since he cannot even saved his own fiancee.
