The award I have to offer has a few very simple guidelines.
NOTE: With the exception of poetry content, the same guidelines listed below applies to all other awards presented from my site.

#1. Your site must contain original poetry written by you and not just be a page full of links to other poetry sites. (NOTE: You may have as many links as you like providing you also have poems written by yourself featured within your site.)

#2. There can be NO links to any XXX sites on your web pages. I do not link my site to pages of XXX content nor will I link someone else's site to mine if they contain those types of links.

#3. I ask that you please take the time to sign my guest book so that I can find you and visit your site. I love surfing the web and especially enjoy visiting the pages of those who came to visit mine. An entry saying more than "NICE SITE" showing me you took the time to visit more than this award page is a bonus! My guest book is found on my opening page titled 'Belda's Web of Poetry' and remember, I can't find you if you don't leave an entry there.

#4. There are only 2 things I truly despise while surfing. The 1st being those annoying pop-ups. I personally am revamping my site and eliminating them from my pages. If you are a resident of Geocities, there is no excuse to have them and only a site cut above the rest will keep my attention long enough to see your site. ( NOTE: Don't think you have them on your site? If you reside in a Geocities neighborhood and have not placed the geoguide on every page, then you have pop-ups!) Enough about those little critters I despise and let me tell you that 2nd to them is having my RIGHT to choose what I listen to taken from me. By not giving me the option to turn off the music on your web pages you have lost a visitor immediately. Not everyone likes the same thing and what you like is your right but please do not force it on me.

#7. From time to time, I will give out awards to sites I found while surfing that were in a class of their own. They stand out in front of the rest. They make you FEEL! Your emotions are touched in every sense. You laugh with them, smile with them, cry with them, die with them and then long for more and more when every page has been read thoroughly. Finding these precious gems in this huge cyber world can be compared to finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
