CHILDHOOD DREAMS

Slipping deep into;
A childhood dream;
Awake the household;
With a loud scream;
Sobbing with fear;
Gasping for air;
Where is Mommie;
Does she not care?
All alone in a bed;
Stay awake all night;
Waiting for morning;
Eyes wide with fright;
Into a room, Daylight;
It will slowly creep;
Only then it is known;
That it's safe to sleep!
