Creature of Darkness

From where do you come, this demon inside,
So deeply within, are you relishing the ride,
No longer dormant, believing you rule the day,
Be gone with you, predator of innocent prey.

Pieces of this life, taken slowly, one by one, Dare to finish what you have now begun, Destroy not, this body you brazenly hold, How hideous you are, so very evil and cold.
This vessel of life, you give great pain, Tides rise high from tears falling like rain, Please spare this soul, it has much to share, Force it not to be confined, can you be fair.
Compassionate and tolerant your host does seem, Vivacious, still shining like a bright sunny beam, Dwell deeply forever where there is no dawn, Creature of darkness, you must never spawn.
Greatness will come from within this haven, Stay hidden in the darkness, demon so craven, Spoiled will be the riches you try to claim, Victorious be your host, glorified by fame.
