"FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN"


You came into my life and chances I have taken;
Now I have opened a part of me that no one knew.
Fearing not for these feelings that consume me;
But, fear of the unknown that lies within you.

The chance on loving you has a very high cost;
And I do wonder if I can truly afford to pay.
If only I knew what lies within your own heart;
Then without doubt, I would take a chance today.
