"WE ARE ONE" His words were spoken with such passion; Oh, how I have come to love this stranger! That very first tender kiss with gentle eyes, Made me realize that with him was no danger. My shyness vanished with urgency that blossomed; Now set to flame within me was this wild desire; Sensing his rhythm, my heart did begin racing; Mesmerizing me, tempting, setting me so on fire. Long distance between us and yet we are like one; Passions have been stirred, a longing for much. Will we be truly content with this mere happiness, Without ever really feeling each other's touch? For if I were to suddenly die on my tomorrow; There would only be one single little regret; And though I so love what he has given to me; My soul would cry for never having really met! Belda J.
