My Children
My Children
Sometimes, they look this sweet. It's important to remember them this way, or else we'd be a very short-lived race! *jk*
I grew up with 4 brothers and my mom and dad. My memories of my childhood are filled with fun and laughter. Good friends, good food and lots of love. Since 3 of my brothers are significantly younger than I am, and I spent a LOT of time babysitting, I always knew I wanted children of my own. I'm happy I made that wonderful choice!
I'm a mom myself now. I've got three children whom I cherish with all my heart. They are each so very different from each other, still they share one thing in common. They love each other fiercely. They may fight amongst themselves, but no one else better bother one of them! That poor person would take on much more than they could handle! *l*
Jeremy. Jeremy is my oldest son. He's 22 now. If I had to describe Jeremy, the first thing that would come to my mind is his gentleness. This is a young man who is not afraid to show his feelings, to let the people around him know how special they are, how much he loves them. And he shows it in so many more ways that through just his words. He's sensitive, kind and a great listener! I'm very, very proud of you Jer!
Natasha. Natasha is 15, going on 35! She and I don't always see eye to eye, yet she's got an incredible spirit. One that I like to think I helped shape (much to my chagrin!) She's bright, funny, loves to laugh, is incredible at sports and even manages to beat me in cards! (Now that's saying something!!! *L*) She's also very beautiful. I like to think that the spirit and determination she shows now will be a real source of strength for her for all of her life!
Justin. Justin is 13 and he is an incredible artist. He discovered this passion several years ago on a long road trip. Ever since he put pen to paper, he's never stopped. He loves science fiction, comic book heros (he's even made some of his own!), movies and curling up in my lap and watching old videos! He and I have had some amazing philosophical conversations about all facets of life. He often surprises me with the depth of his thinking. I like the man I'm beginning to see in the boy before me.
