A leaf falls
the season dies
It's death has come upon us.
Many try not to see
and avoid it's wrath
though it catches up to thee.
Soon we see the life anew
it's beauty comes
and calms us all
we believe and know it's true
as the sky turns from
the cold and gray
to open wide and happy blue.
