Safe Haven and Poison Tree are now available in paperback and selling very well.
The new book, DELICATE INDECENCIES - is now complete and should be out in early 2001. What was to have been a tv mini-series of the first two books (In Wolf's Clothing and Peace Crimes) has changed dramatically to a major feature being written in conjunction with award winning script writer Nicolas Hammond.
Sandy has also contributed a chapter for a new compilation "On Murder" - the chapter is on the Snowtown murders. The book is now out and available from good bookstores or on-line from the Writers Studio Bookshop.
Penguin books has brought out a non-fiction book by Sandy. Called QUIRKY QUESTIONSit is a collection of over 150 conversation starters - an great Christmas gift.
The radio show, "Australia Talks Books" is about to head into its fourth year. Australia Talks Books is an on-air and on-line book group with people able to contribute to the hour long program. Sandy co-hosts the program with novelist Ramona Koval (Samovar)who presents ABC's Books and Writing on Radio National. Visit the website and listen to the previous programs on real audio (you can download it from the site for free if you don't have it) and then leave a comment on the forum page. In the meantime - PEACE CRIMES, POISON TREE and SAFE HAVEN - are also selling through the web site and have had great reviews from American, German, Finnish, Swedish and New Zealand readers.
Sandy has just completed a research trip overseas for the next book (no title yet) which will be a follow on to SAFE HAVEN. Writing of this book is now underway.
