Chapel

by ImAuthor4U

In Neverland the people raised their voices to the sky
They thanked their God in native tongue and praised him on high
The Ladies of the Lord and Knights in royal gowns and hats
Were seated next to peasants who were proud of where they sat

In wasn't just at any time these folks could mingle well
They knew to keep their distance when they passed them on the street
But every Sunday you could find them filing through the chapel door
The Royal Chapel, to find solace and with royalty they'd meet.

T'was here they all were equal in the great Creator's eyes
They sang the songs of praise and raised their voices to the skies
The melodious praises did ring out, on knees they knelt in prayer
The Lords and Knights and Ladies and the peasants all kneeling there

Yes, they were equal in their worship, saying thank you to the King
Whose Lordship over all the earth, rule the lands supreme
They took the time to keep their faith and honor Him on high
The Ladies, Lords and Knights and peasants found solace by and by.
