Think about these words -- the ABC evening news. Peter Jennings did a story about prayer. A researcher had just completed a study of the effect that prayer has on people. The "subjects" had been divided into three categories. For me, the shock was the third category.

The first category were those people that had no one praying for them at all. These people suffered more and, in the cases of illness, these people got worse.

The second group were the people that were being prayed for and they knew they were being prayed for. These people got better and/or their problems were solved at an incredible rate.

The third group is the group that took me by surprise. These people were prayed for just as hard as people prayed for the second group but they did not know they had prayers being said for them. And they got well and their problems eased just as much as the second group did.

Is that awesome? First of all, prayer making the evening news is such a statement of faith. And the now documented fact that the second and third group showed such remarkable changes is a message of faith within itself all over again. Don't you think?
