Snowy Bits

White fallings,
Across the grasses in brown,
Covering.

Just the tips,
Little brown dots of the past;
New cover.

White on white,
White in sky and on the ground;
Newer snow.

Fresh footprints,
Filling as soon as is cast;
Windblown new.

Swirling snow,
The great oak white all around;
Shaped by wind.

Snowy dusk,
Shadows of sky finds a task;
White escaped.
