The 1998 Children's Christmas Party and "Keep Christ in Christmas" Poster Contest

This years's celebration was a huge success with the children. Entertainment was provided once again by "Gotcha Hopping." She held her young audience captive with song, dance, and LOTS of audience participation.

In addition to the party, the winners of the "Keep Christ in Christmas" poster contest were announced. Awards were presented for 1ST, 2ND, and 3RD place, and the posters were on display throughout the party

As with every event we sponsor, this year's Children's Christmas part and "Keep Christ in Christmas" poster contest would not have been possible without the hard work of several individuals. A special note of recognition goes out to our 3RD Vice Commander, Ernie Beck, who managed the poster contest. Ernie had to contact all the local Catholic schools and procure the necessary supplies. Ernie had help from several other CWV members - please accept our thanks to all these individuals working in the background whose efforts often go unnoticed.

Several members of the Ladies Auxiliary helped with Christmas party. Between setting up tables, buying presents, arranging for entertainment, and serving refreshments, the Ladies Auxiliary lent a helping hand wherever needed. Thank you!
