Comments: Just to let you know that when I spied you rats sitting in plant pots in their cage I piched the idea. I now have a bright yellow plastic flower pot attached to the wall of the cage with a big cabe tie. Suzy has really taken to it and keeps stuffing shredded paper and food in it to sleep on. Comments: Does anyone know where I can get a rat wheel at a sensible price? My two critters (Sarah and Suzy) have worn out their plastic one, and I can't find another one in plastic big enough anywhere. I've currently got a metal one lined with cornflake packet b t that isn't really good enough as I am worried that one day one of them sill get their tail caught in the spokes. I've trid an 8inch hamster wheel but it just isn't big enough. I've seen the Wodent Wheels fron the USA but at $24 they are a bit steep. Any suggestions? :-) Christine

Comments: I love rats, I had a pair called Nutty and Chocolate. Nutty was all brown and Chocolate was brown, with a white belly. Chocolate died 3 days after last Christmas with tuma problems. Nutty died earlyer this year with the same things. They used to love sitt ng on my shoulder, I got them when they were babys from the RSPCA. I'm getting some more for my birthday. Comments: I am a kitty, so I hope I don't scare you nice rats with my visit to your wonderful website. My ma used to keep several varieties of hamsters, guinea pigs, mice, gerbils and even a rescued meadow vole. So as a longstanding rodent fan, she insisted we co e by and see your rat site from the Petsburgh pages. She still loves rodents. She never did get around to having a rat, and now with all of us kitties, she doesn't think it wise to try. Also, she once had some mean wild rats break into her hutch and att ck her pet bunnies, so she was a bit afraid of rats, until she learned how nice the domesticated ones are. Comments: I like your site. I really like rats. My two daughters each have 2 rats. I found out I am allergic to their dander, but still love to play with them. I just try to wash my hands right away. They are such sweethearts. It is very hard to find non- fee er rats here. All the stores here only sell their rats as feeders. We bought the feeder rats. They all have that upper respiratory thing though.
