FOLLOW YOUR HEART

Follow your heart and see where it leads
It will satisfy your wants and needs
Thought rattles your brain and scrambles your mind,
You feel like you're running way behind.

Your temperature rises, Your face turns red,
You toss and turn all night in bed.
You always long for that magic touch
You don't want to, but you like it so much.

Just listen to your heart - it's near to you
It will calm you and lead you true
Whether the outcome is good or bad,
Follow your heart it will make you glad.

Your brain says control, don't get so close
But your heart betrays you, it wants so much
Everything is twisted and so unclear
You want distance but you have to be near.

You are surrounded by love - but always alone
Search your heart for that magical tone
Your brain can lead you and guide your life
But it can also lead to loneliness and strife.

Just listen to your heart - it's near to you
It will calm you and lead you true
Whether the outcome is good or bad,
Follow your heart it will make you glad.

You can think all your life - search and seek
Your heart feelings are true - take a peek
Friendship or love - closeness or space
Follow your heart and you've won the race.
