Buddy was a Boston from Austin Texas. When he was turned over to the shelter there, I understand he was heartworm positive. Cindy with the Austin Rescue had sent out email requests for assistance with Buddy's transport from Austin to Orlando Florida. My leg of the journey started in Gainesville and back to Ocala. Buddy was very well mannered in my van; exploring it and looking out the window. We met Vic and Chris at Cracker Barrel in Ocala. Buddy was pacing back and forth before their arrival. When they arrived and got out of their car, he was so excited!!!! It was like he knew this was his new family and he was finally home.
