Ch Peiday's Every Other Friday *** CH Peiday's Every Other Friday aka Friday came to live with us in Dec. of 1997. David Williams was looking for a good home for her and we were looking for a good bitch. It took Grant three weeks to win over her trust and love but after that she adored him. In Friday's eyes Grant was God. She had been raised as a one person dog and that one person was Grant, she would tolerate the rest of us but she never let us forget who she really loved. They were really funny to watch together. You could see her almost jumping and nearly doing back flips just to have him near her. We bred her in Oct. of 1998 and kept one bitch from the litter, Dollar. We were waiting for her to come back in heat this summer to breed her when on July 17,2000 Grant got up for work and went out to smoke a cigarette and found her dead. He took her to the vet to be atopsied and cause of death was bloat. The Congo Red Stain for amyloidosis was negative with no sign of any deposits, which greatly relieved us. So we bred Dollar, whose heat started the day that her mother died in honor of Friday. She will always hold a special place in our hearts as the one that Grant loved and adored who gave back even more to him.
