TINKERBELL

Tinkerbell is a Goldie's Lorikeet who came to us through our dear friend, Darlene.  She's a very small and delicate  little girl as compared to our other lories Cosmo and Gabby.  She has a soft muted little voice.  We know she's speaking to us, but have yet to fully understand what it is that she is saying.  With her soft green colors, and her soft little voice, you could spend hours being hypnotized be her antics. She never allows you to be near her cage without her coming to investigate.  And she's a stubborn little thing, as well. A creature of habit, best describes her.  You're allowed to remove toys and add new ones, but, when it's bath time - only one little dish will do.  When it's meal time, the nectar bowl had best be placed beside her bowl of sliced apples. (she loves to dunk apple slices in her nectar, much as we dunk donuts in our milk glasses)  When dinner is served, you can add any fruit and veggie you like, but there had best be some corn, a few peas, and her apples. Otherwise, stand back and listen to her fuss. Bedtime is the most fun. When it's time to cover her up, tell her good-night and say the "I love you's" it doesn't matter how long she had been dozing before hand. She must, she will get the last word in. I think I'm a little glad I can't always understand her.
