This is my first time doing a website, so please be patient with me.
I am a dedicated cat lover and I spent two years working at a veterinary clinic.
I learned a lot there and I truly enjoyed my job,
but I also seen some of the horrible ways people treated their pets.
Animal abuse and neglect is so much more common that you would think.
We all need to work together to end the cruelty to animals.
With proper care, nutrition, and annual veterinary examinations, you can help your cat live a longer, healthier life.
One of the biggest factors that can affect a cats health is if they are spayed or neutered.
It has been shown in studies that spayed or neutered cats live longer, healthier lives.
The risk for cats developing disorders such as pyometra and specific types of cancer are greatly reduced if they are is spayed or neutered.
Yearly exams can also help in detecting disease early, which can increase treatment options.
I have taken in a quite a few stray cats and either kept them or found good homes for them.
No cat should have to live a life outside where it is much to dangerous for them.
According to the Humane Society of the United States, the average life span of an outdoor cat is only two to five years.
Indoor cats are expected to have an average life span of about seventeen years.
All of my cats were either strays or adopted from a shelter and they are all spayed or neutered.
Kittens might be cute, but there are millions of unwanted cats that are homeless or euthanized each year.
I strongly believe that every kitten be spayed or neutered to prevent this from happening.
