Danny's
Web Page...
Danny is, by far, the prettiest horse we've ever seen.  She is a registered paint mare, and Terry is seriously thinking about making her into a show horse.  She is extremely friendly, a little fiesty, and likes to nibble on people.  I haven't yet been able to get a good picture of her because whenever I get close to her stall, she has to be right in front of me, nibbling inquisitively.  The only way to get her to stop nibbling is to rub her shoulders, right underneath her mane.  If you get the right spot, she will stretch her neck out and do a little swan dance.  It is hilarious, and she will keep it up as long as you scratch that spot!
The next three pictures are a series.  As we couldn't seem to get a good picture of Danny, we finally came up with a good plan.

Andre stood at one side of the stall and scratched her neck, while I snuck around to the other side with my camera.
I set my camera up and got ready to take some quick pictures. When I said "OK" Andre walked away from the stall, and I whistled to Danny to get her attention.  She immediately turned around and moseyed on over to me.
Well, her mosey was pretty fast, so I only managed to get three pictures of her before her nose was bumping the camera lens.  But at least we have some good pictures of her now.
And she was happy because we gave her a double shoulder rub afterwards. Ooh yeah!
