OUR SAMPSON TURNS 13....HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOY!!
Today is such a special day, dear Sampson your are thirteen years old,
When we got you you were just a pup, so fit and spry and bold........
you are not as big as some Newfs get, but you are still a champion at heart,
You really worked hard, and always did your best, right from the very start.......
You always did whatever i asked, and i always knew you would,
You were my dog at the grooming shop, and you did the best you could......
With your friendly smile, and your calming way, the other dogs felt at home,
You helped them adjust, for their visit there, and they never felt alone......
You are the most faithful companion i have ever owned, a human in disguise, So quiet and calm, never disobey, and with time have become so wise...
You are so very proud, you dont want any help, in getting around these days, You are still a free spirit, and you get mad, when a little lift comes your way......
You are so thoughtful and caring, you know what i want even before i speak,
And you are happy and content with a stubborn streak, and when i take a peek,
At my special boy, getting on in years, but still as handsome as can be,
For all you want to do, is please me boy, and how you love me is plain to see....
You love it when your fur gets clipped, you feel so comfy and cool,
You mope around, until i clip you down, dear boy you are a jewel....
I can always trust you to stay around, and never wander away,
You always keep me in sight, and stayed in the yard, be it night or be it day......
You so love the water, and to swim with the gulls, you have such a loving way,
One time one was injured and could`nt fly, and for a long time you did stay by the gulls` side......
Right by him to protect him and keep him safe, a dog caring for a bird, oh yes,
Becouse you are our Sampson, our special boy, and you have always been the best.....
So to our dear fellow we have this to say, "Happy Birthday" We Love You So!
You will always be our special pup, as the years still come and go.....
We so want to thank you, for all the love, and great times we have had together,
For the joy you bring, and the smiles you make, and the way you make life better......
