Jennifers Poems
I have been through quite a bit in my life so far, luckily I found Gusto and he helped me through some of it. This is just a sample of some of the poems I have written. Some of these poems were written years ago and some are not exactly 'happy', but writing them and now reading them helps me remember that my life, now is much better!
When day turns to night
When the sun turns to moon
When it gets colder outside
I remember things from the past
*Sometimes I laugh
Sometimes I cry
Mixed memories
From the past*
I have lost many things
but gained even more
I mustn't look back
At my lone past
Poem 2
Running in an open field
I feel free
Wherever and whatever I want to do
I feel I can
Life seems wonderful
When I am running in the field
Poem 3
The wind screams
but no one hears
The cloud bleed
but no one cares~
They just put up walls
to drown out the pain
For they can not take it
It is too much to bear
So no one cares
Poem 4
Sometimes it seems the world is going on without me
Did it leave me behind?
I don't know, I think it's back again.
No one understands, no one, not even me.
I wish it would go away, go way and never come back,
But it does, again and again.
Unexpected, uninvite
Surely it will come back soon.
Leave me!
It won't
Stay away!
It can't
It must come again to torture and confuse.
Nothing can save me now.
It has taken hold one more time...
