My years of Being in love with the  perfoming of Music combine with my experieneces in Photography, Ceramics, and Depth Psychology and Self reflection.    Working the acrylics on canvas there is a moment of Becoming without being dictated by or to. A NOW as in music perfomances, and IT is Beautiful.    While a 'non representational' presentation, it is a representation of Energy, Theme, and Construct.    Nudged by the seed of effort, the  distillation of voices, sounds, scents, songs, emotions and thoughts emerge into an Imagery of  their own Mythology and Archetypes manifesting Beauty.    MoonLight and Sunrise, morning songbirds, night loon, Drum ciricles, memories of holidays in grandma's kitchen,  snows falling covering the valley while a gust blasts the eaves, a flashing glimpse in a corner of eye while on a Metropolitan subway, forever Delta Blues ... All are from something and anything might come forth.

Robert Guy is an accomplished musician, photographer, and ceramicist now exhibiting his efforts of acrylic on canvas. Lead by the artistic temperments of the Impressionists, Bay Area and New York Schools, his works are inspired by mythological tale, ancient song, and contemporary music; the use of colour, line, and forms manifesting in expressions of visionary contemplation.
