Butterfly Information
Family Ithomiidae
Overview: Family Ithomiidae
This family comprises a couple hundred small and medium sized butterflies. Most of which have transparent wings. Their bodies are shaped quite similar to those of the Zebras, with a longer abdomen giving them a resemblance similar to that of a dragonfly with overly-rounded wings.

Unfortunately, the members of this family only appear in the Neotropical regions, and little of them is known to me, except for what I may read in various texts.
