Overview: Family Pieridae
Family Pieridae is another large Family, with over 2,000 species, of which many are the more common butterflies found throughout the world.
Comprised mostly of yellows and whites, this Family has few exotic colors.
Of note : Many of these species are considered pests to gardeners and farmers who usually try to deliberately wipe them out with pesticides and such.
