I'm impressed with your web page design.
It looks very professional and is also easy
to understand. I don't have any suggestions since
I am only beginning to find out about the resources
available on the Internet.
You have all the links that I know about.
Keep up the good work.

I really enjoyed your homepage. You sound like a very
couragous younge man, one to be truly admired. My mother
has a pituitary tumor (prolactinomas) and I was looking for
information online and came across your homepage. It has been
very helpful to me!! Good luck in college and everything you do!!!

Hi, just checking for info all over regarding
Pituitary Tumors. I was diagnosed with a Pituitary
Adenoma the end of August of this year after a few
months of some very subtle symptoms, and then several
days of bad headaches, then crushing headache that
progressed to a ride in the Rescue Squad! Emergency
Surgery ensued after developing a bleed that almost cost
me my sight, but miraculously my wonderful surgeon was
able to save it. I had a golfball size tumor removed
from my Pituitary and all but 10% of the gland removed.
So far, things are fine and I have no problems other than
a little blurred vision in one eye and a lot of headaches
still that are slowly improving. My surgery was a
transphenoidal something I forgot the send word at this second.
Anyway, sorry to be so longwinded, just really wanted to say
I enjoyed your page, it is really quite cool. All the best to
you and your family, and wishing you great things for the future.

Duggan,
I like your page. I have just now started to look
on the web for info concerning pituitary concerns and yours
was the first I found. I have not run in to anyone else that
I knew was afflicted. Good job and keep that positive attitude.

Duggan - Your Home Page looks great. I don't
know if you remember me, but I met you a few years ago
at the "Pituitary Days" at the University of Virginia.
I have a craniopharyngioma too. I am 23 now and doing
well -- I have not had any reoccurences of my tumor. I
am now out of college and working for an Information
Systems consulting firm. From your e-mail it sounds
like you are doing well. If you have any questions abot
working with Infrmation systems -- drop me an email
Good luck in College! Ted

Duggan,
My father had a craniopharyngioma that was not diagnosed
until he was 56 years old. The doctors said he had
probably had it for years! He was very short 5'4", but no
one ever thought much of it because his whole family was short.
Unfortunately, his tumor came back after one year and he died
of a heart attack after the second surgery (he had other
medical conditions). He has been dead for 15 years now, and the
doctors said he had has the tumor for many years. Unfortunately,
technology was not as good as it is today. It is encouraging for
me to read of people who are surviving this rare tumor.
I enjoyed your Homepage. Best of luck to you!

Thank you for sharing your experience. I just found out I
have a small tumor involving the hormone prolactin and my
pituitary gland. It was helpful to hear about how you are
handling your disease (former disease?)

Hey, Duggan! Enjoyed your page. I am a 43 year-old
woman who, at the age of 20 in 1974, interupted my college
studies for a surgical removal of a pituitary tumor. I am a
walking miracle, not having to take any drugs. I have the
opposite problem of yours’ I’m tall and big-boned. Married a
guy who likes tall women and had two kids. Found that the
operation was a defining moment of my life, something I’m still
working on understanding. Felt like a second chance, and nothing
has scared me that much since. I remember feeling so different
at college, concerned about my hormone levels while all around
me the kids were worried about grades! The manic depression
as a result of the tumor left me with some bad habits in relating to
people which I worked hard to break when I was cured. Hang in
there. Use your unique strengths. You are a fine man!
