My Alcoholics Anonymous Page
This site is not in any way, shape or form affiliated with A. A. World Services or G.S.O. This is my own personal site on the topic of recovery from the disease of alcoholism through the A. A. program.
God, Grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The Courage to change the things I can,
And the Wisdom to know the difference.
Alcoholism is a disease that holds no discrimination. It does not care what color, religion, race, sex, blood type, or age you may be. It can strike down anyone. It doesn’t care what your social status is or how much money you make...it can get the rich and the poor alike. It doesn’t matter what your sexual orientation is. None are truly safe from this deadly disease.
If you have a problem with alcohol, or know someone who does, Alcoholics Anonymous may have the answers you are searching for. A. A. cannot solve all of your problems, but it can show you a new way of life without alcohol through the 12 Steps. We will show you how the fellowship works through the 12 Traditions. And there are Promises that life can and will get better if you are willing to work the steps of this program with all your heart and soul...All that is required is a willingness to be honest and open-minded.
A Declaration of Unity
This we owe to A. A.'s future:
To place our common welfare first;
To keep our fellowship united.
For on A. A. unity depends our lives,
And the lives of those to come.
I am responsible...
When anyone, anywhere,
reaches out for help, I want
the hand of A. A. always to be there.
And for that: I am responsible.
