Nature's Future
In the begining, Nature was young and we were yet
unborn.
Through the passage of time, her wisdom grew and we were given
life.
Over the years, our progress has battered her with destruction
and barrenness . . .
leaving her empty and hollow, except for the pain and sorrow
we fill her with.
She gives and we take, the process bleeding her dry . . .
as we rapidly drain her resources like water from a broken bottle.
And yet she continuously tears the canvas to repair what we
have destroyed.
On the left is what she wants for us . . .
on the right is what we make for ourselves.
