FREE PATTERN

 

 

This scrunchie is a flatter style for those who do not like their scrunchies too full. The one pictured is mine, and I wear it all the time!

 

SOLEIL by Kim Burie

 

Materials: Sportsweight Cotton Yarn (I used South Maid Cotton 8)
20 pony beads (6 x 9mm)
Elastic hair band
Size G crochet hook

 

String the pony beads onto the yarn using a tapestry needle.

Join yarn onto band with sc.

1. Sc around band 39 times. Join to first sc with sl st. (40 sc)

2. Ch 1, sc in same st as joining. (Ch 4, pull up bead, ch 4) in same st.
* Skip next sc, sc in next sc, (ch 4, pull up bead, ch 4) in same st;
Repeat from * around. Do NOT join.

3. Sc in first empty sc, ch 8. * Sc in next empty sc, ch 8. Repeat from
* around. Join to first sc with sl st. Finish off.
