Moderation

The RainForest Newsletter is a moderated newsletter, this means your contributions are being revised before they reach every subscriber. This is not intended to censor your input, but to keep out nonsense, accidental messages etc. and to format everything nicely before it is sent out to all. Like all over Geocities, on this list is not allowed: Any personal harm like molestation and humiliation, commercials, intolerance against peoples and religions, fascism, idiocy or obscenities, passwords. Mind the netiquette!
We would take the editorial freedom for cutting down some parts of your contributions if they are too long. We want a diversity of opinion with most possible interaction and a participation of all subscribers.
Posting in HTML code is not accepted. Very long signatures are cut. 

Structure

The Newsletter is divided into 2 sections, the Environment Section and Geocities Features.

Environment Section

---Endangered Animal Alert

-This is a new monthly article which will tell you all the information about the endangered animal of the month.

Also, there will be other articles which will either be written by myself or by the members of the newsletter.

Geocities Features

This section deals with Geocities topics. Each month, we will have articles on new geo features, RainForest features and other neighborhood features.

Replies

The previous articles were given a reference number in the newsletter so you just quote the reference number not the message. Keep also your replies to a readable size.

Site announcements

If you have a good page, send in a small description with the URL.

Personal ads

It is not the primary intention of this newsletter, but we want to give you a little space in this forum for your personal real life. We would not accept commercials. Swap offers are allowed, if it can be expected to meet somehow the interest of RainForest homesteaders. Looking for support, looking for mail friends, etc ... All ads should be very short.
