Terry, I started chasing in Arizona in 1968, at 7 years of age!!! I still cannot get over all I have seen. But it became less fun and more of a job, so I packed and sold my equipment in 1993. Your shots are crystal, and that makes them beautiful.
I have videos of Arizona Storms but after I met a chaser who LIED his way to the top in 1990, I became disgusted, as he was featured everywhere.
I to this day cannot believe how gullible folks were with his lies-even at the Weather Channel!
So, now me and the much lighter pick-up hit the beautiful Arizona Desert in July and August, and have a blast. Just like the kid I was. Keep up the good work, and if by chance you almost get struck....play us the whole tape!!!!! ;)

I have been here a few times and never noticed a visitors book. Many talented lightning photographers like yourself have been here as well. Really do like the site and all the work that you have put into it to make it something special. I do with i could
here the same number of storms that you get a year instead of having to travel over 8000 km to get them. But then that is all part of the chase.
I hope you get some of those famous winter storms to keep the SSDS (severe storm deficiency syndrome) at bay

Hi Terry! I like your page. Great shots! Here in Holland there's only a couple of times a year that we have an active thunderstorm at night passing overhead, if we have luck. At day too. Most thunderstorms here are not electrically active, most of them ha
e an average lightning frequency of twice a minute, I believe.
Perhaps I'm going to buy a camcorder, so that I won't miss any lightning. Then I can record the sound too, that's even more amazing, because to me, the sound often impresses me most!
