What
then is the vision of the school with regard to quality education for
Vision 2020? SMK Kuhara should not be complacent with its present status
of being the nation's most promising secondary school. We will strive
to achieve total excellence to allow us to achieve the world standard
in our management of the school, teaching and learning process based on
the ISO 9000 standard as envisaged by our Prime Minister.
This is our vision with regard to quality education for Vision 2020. It is because of this global vision that SMK Kuhara will go into computerization in school administration in order to be more efficient in a paperless office management. This will be followed by the introduction of the Internet through computers.
As one of
the 12 selected secondary schools in Sabah to be given the honour to introduce
the "Inventions and Designs" as a new subject through computing, SMK Kuhara
will therefore vigorously pursue to advance the school in the field of
Information Technology. Thus, the logical step will be to make the Multimedia
as an effective tool for all teaching and learning processes. Such exposure
will allow our staff and students to have direct access to a global knowledge
as well as the latest development in the area of information technology.
This is the pre-requisite to the global standard for SMK Kuhara and it
is also in line with the MSC (Multimedia Super Corridor) concept.
This is our visions & missions for our beloved school SMK Kuhara. It is
only through strong conviction and determination as well as commitment
that we all work together as a united force to turn our visions & missions
into realities.
We have shown that we have the willpower and the zeal to make SMK Kuhara the nation's most promising educational institution now let us make SMK Kuhara one of the most outstanding schools in the Asia-Pacific region.
