The female Painted Jezebel
lays her eggs on the undersides of the leaves of the Loranthus - (Dendropthoe
pentandra). Usually more than a dozen eggs are laid together over a
patch of the leave of around the size of a 20 cent coin.
The eggs are a creamy yellow and slightly elongated. |
