UNITY
Heated coupling,
Pulses quicken,
Beating crimson, liquid life,
As two hearts intertwine,
Producing one system,
One Soul.

PUPPY STARE
Sad chocolate pupppy stare,
Asks you with sweet language,
Why her tiny whisper,
Could always produce the power,
To crush his languid dream.

WHISPERED DEATH
Sing of raw need
Chant it in the black forest
To the sweet honey moon
Why crush the power
When you can watch its death
In a warm bed
With a shadow of a whisper
In the winter wind

A SINGLE TOUCH
This destined touch
Can melt
The most hardened of eyes
And strengthen
The weakest of hearts
Believe only one thing
If you will
There is just a single
True chance
For love
Take it now
While it's here
The touch will fade
But a memory
Lives on forever

MAY I HAVE THIS DANCE?
(revised)
Swimming
Through an ocean
Of melody
Their hands clasped together
Between bodies
Only inches apart
The harmony of instuments
Seeps into their bones
As they lose themselves
In each others dark eyes
Alone
In a tiny world
On the dance floor
The music ceases
Yet
They continue
To the rhythm

SO NOTED
Give
A fond farewell
To Rhyme & Rhythm
Welcome in
The fantasies
Your imagination
Freedom lies
Just beyond the confines
Step forward
And break the chains
Break the Rules
For we live
In chaos
So shall we think
In Free Verse

RHYME
Oft, I have heard you
Cry out into the night
I shall forsake you no longer
Reach, grasp, hold but slight
A grip made stronger
I love anew.
2/9/99
Note: This is a trial of something new, the first poem of mine that has actually rhymed!
