Evening falls like old
Vines dead on the
Earthen path.
Realize soon that our
Love shall outlast
All these mortal
Signs of nature.
There is no death for us,

Every thought makes no sense
Tis only a spinning globe
With a bright Star to revolve around
Where do I go
When I cannot rest my head
Against the rhythm of your heart
Shall I stop my breath
Or squeeze my heart to death?
One glimpse of you again
Shows me the path I must take
Twill be a long journey
Yet one I must make
These windows close and dream of a life
As tears stream down
I am lost
The dream is a lie
No one can love me forever.

PAIN BEYOND THE PANES
I lie awake in the darkness
Listening to the fall of long-awaited rain
Hearing the thunder roll across the sky
The beads of wetness pelting against this warmth
Its rivulet fingers longing to enter
As I wish to get out
Wish to run wild, free, and bare
Into the fresh, clean air of washed summer
Carried by the rain
I drift to ages past
Of laughter and endless smiles
Though they hid a truth,
At least they were real for a time
Now my chest aches to cry
For what, sometimes I don't even know
Yet the tears fall unbeknownst to everyone
Coverd by the darkness
And the water beyond the pain.

like a dagger
to the heart
you have pierced me
a little death
will follow
i stand at the edge
and you push me
head over heels
i plummet
into the warm
waters below
oblivion
wakes me
from my reality
content am i
fingertip to fingertip
skin to skin
soul to soul
in stillness sleep
till dawn approaches
luminous rays
flit across my cheek
my waking dream
lying there
beside me

A tortured Soul broken in two
Cries out in Pain
While in the arms of
Another
While its other half
Grips as tightly as it can
But soon it will lose
For Love cannot overcome it all
