Even as a young teen, I've have always been one to take care of
how I treat the enviroment. Always picking-up the trash and discarded objects
that others had carelessly left with my neighborhood and school zone.
No-one had to tell me that the beauty of the enviroment was being abused, and
taken advantage of by those that didn't care about the animals and nature within
which we all live and depend upon for the very essence of life.
I've carried this trait and love for our world into my present community, where I donate my free time to clean-up the parks, the roadways and public areas which most kids and families go to play and enjoy the beauty that "Mother Earth" has freely offered. to us.
As my community grows and becomes enveloped by commerical development, they seem to have forgotten about the diplaced creatures that depended on the earth that man has taken for grated. As they build their new, largger malls and shopping centers, they seem to worry more about the money to be made than the fact that such precious animals as rabbits, possums, hawks and other small, somewhat defenseless, children of nature, are now left homeless and lost to salvage for a new home and sources of food to live, driving these creatures into the neighborhoods where children play and mankind live, cuaseing the misunderstood
beautiful creatures to be named "pests" and hunted down only so that man can live without the need to care for the animals that they displaced.
We should each do our part to help save the planet, from the mistreatment that others have inflicted upon it.
