Found on the Shelves
I created this page to let everyone know which new Hot Wheels are out on the shelves, hopefully this will help people by letting them know what to look for. It should also let you know what new pictures I've put up, or will be putting up soon. Each car in the list will include a description or my opinion of the car. I go looking for new stuff EVERY day, and usually find quite a bit.

- 1998 Treasure Hunt Series #4: 3 Window '34 - Orange with yellow flames. Another great TH, the only bad part is the 5 dot wheels.
- Low N Cool Series #1: Mini Truck - Yellow with green and red tampos. The nicest mini truck so far.
- Low N Cool Series #2: '59 Impala - Green with purple and black tampos. Very cool! I love the color.
- Ferrari 308 #816 - Metallic bronze. Not a bad car, but nothing special. It has those ugly 5 dot wheels.
- Ferrari Tesatarossa #784 - Silver. Pretty cool, I like it better than the white one.
- Tropicool Series #2: Baja Bug - White with red, yellow, and green tampos. I really like this one!
- Tropicool Series #4: Corvette Convertible - Neon green with blue tampos. Not bad, but nothing special. Why so much neon green this year?
- GMC Motor Home #524 - Blue with a grey plastic base. I like this one, a metal base would have made it better though.
- 1998 First Editions #3: Dodge Sidewinder - Neon orange and dark purple. I really like the body of this car, the color is kind of cool too.
- '56 Flashsider # 771 - Yellow with pink and blue tampos. I love the new color, but I'm sick of the 5 dot wheels.
- 1998 First Editions #21: Go Kart - Neon green. This is an incredibly tiny, but incredibly cool car! It's just over one inch long, but I love it!

- The following are all China cars, but don't worry, some of them are nice:
- '65 Mustang Convertible #455 - Dark blue, metal base. Very cool, possibly the next 'Cuda.
- Turboa #598 - Yellow with black, red, and silver tampos. I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I like the animal cars.
- 1996 Mustang GT #715 - White convertible with yellow/red tampos, not as nice as the'65, but still cool.
- Shock Factor #700 - Yellow and blue, a pretty neat little car.
- Lumina Van #702 - Metalflake dark green, much nicer than that horrible white one.
- BMW 325i #603 - Yellow with red and black tampos. It has that bulky China car look, but I like the colors.
- Peugeot 205 Rallye - Black, blue and purple, with a neon orange base. I think they had a bunch of spare parts and threw them together. Don't be surprised if it wins Worst Toy of the Month.
- 30th Anniversary 1969 Twin Mill - Spectraflame yellow, with redlines. Incredibly cool! It comes in a replica of a 1969 package, complete with button. Also inside the box is a 30th Anniversary Hot Wheels pin, and a certificate of authenticity (I'm not sure why we need this, I think it just fills in space).
For The Month Of March:
- 1998 First Editions #13: Hot Seat - White and black. It's a toilet, seriously.
- Tropicool Series #3: Classic Caddy - Red and black, it's very cool.
- Speed A Saurus #814 - Turquoise with an orange base. It's the best dino car yet.
- Figure 8 Racers 5 Pack - A set of cars for the Starter track, it has a few nice ones, but nothing that really stands out.
- 1998 Treasure Hunt Series #3: Kenworth T600A - Dark purple with gold and silver tampos. It says Treasure Hunt '98 on the side. We actually found it on the peg. Very cool.
- 1998 First Editions #7: '32 Ford - Black with yellow flame tampos. This is a gorgeous car!
- 1998 First Editions #10: Dairy Delivery - White with pink and turquoise tampos. This is another really great car.
- Techno Bits Series #4: Radar Ranger - Neon green and purple. I like the colors, but not the big black tampos on the sides.
- Tropicool Series #1: Ice Cream Truck - White with green, red, and yellow tampos. It's a great change from the ordinary truck.
- Mercedes 540K #788 - Metallic purple and turquoise. I love this car, all it needs are whitewalls.
- Lexus SC400 #770 - Metallic purple, a big improvement over the maroon one.
- 30th Ann. 1975 Large Charge - Green with yellow and red lightning bolt tampos and redline tires.
- 30th Ann. 1976 Corvette Stingray - Red with blue, yellow, and white tampos. It also has redlines. I really like this car.
- Techno Bits Series #2: Power Pistons - Bright purple with yellow and black tampos, it has the Hot Wheels website address on the side. It's not a bad car, but it's not my favorite either.
- Techno Bits Series #3: Shadow Jet - Metallic dark purple with gold and black tampos, it says Circuit Racer on the side. It's a really cool looking car.
- 30th Anniversary G-Force Track Set - Comes with a purple Demon with redlines. The $12 price tag is worth the car alone.
- 30th Anniversary 1980 '40s Woodie - Orange with brown wood panels, the package says Hi Rakers, but it isn't really one.
- 30th Anniversary 1985 XT3 - Black with yellow and red tampos. I love the boxes these cars come in.
- 1998 First Editions #2: Slideout - Purple and orange, it's mostly plastic. It's not one of my favorites, but the package doesn't do much to show it off either.
- Lamborghini Diablo #781 - Metallic dark red. This car looks great, the paint is really nice.
- Lamborghini Countach #768 - Black, it's not as nice as the Diablo, but it's still a cool car.
- Camaro Z28 #822 - Metallic turquoise. It's a pretty good looking car.
- Crazy Classics II Five Pack - Has a silver Rail Rodder, a Radio Flyer, a Weinermobile, a purple and green Treadator, and a really cool purple and yellow Rigor Motor.
For The Month Of February:
- 1998 First Editions #8: '65 Impala Lowrider - Metallic purple with yellow tampos. This is a gorgeous car! The only part I don't like is the ugly plastic base.
- Tattoo Machines Series #3: Stutz Blackhawk - Maroon with white tampos. I like Blackhawks a lot, and I think I would have liked this one to have less tampos.
- Tattoo Machines Series #4: Corvette Stingray - Orange with yellow and black tampos. I like it a lot, I'm not sure why.
- Techno Bits Series #1: Shadow Jet II - Black with red and green tampos. It's cooler than the Spy Print one, but not as nice as the all silver one.
- 1998 First Edition #5: Jaguar XK8 - Light green with Jaguar XK8 on the side. It's the same color and basic shape as the California Dreamin' Miata.
- Dodge Viper RT/10 #210 - It's the red Treasure Hunt Viper in a regular blister.
- Tattoo Machines Series #2: '93 Camaro - Neon green with black and white swirl tampos. I really like the '93 Camaro, but the color is not too great.
- 1998 First Edition #6: Jaguar D Type - Dark blue with small white #4 tampos. This is a beautiful car, it reminds me of something from Speed Racer.
- 1998 Treasure Hunt Series #1: Twang Thang - Black with light blue guitars on the sides. Very nice.
For The Month Of January:
- Tattoo Machines Series #1: '57 T-Bird - The first '98 car I've found, and it's very cool. Light blue with a white "tattoo" on the hood and sides. The new packaging is really nice too.
- VW Bug #171 - Rerelease. Purple with orange, green and yello tampos on the sides.
- Jaguar XJ220 #203 - Rerelease. Dark blue, gorgeous. Grab one while you still can.
- Fast Traxx Off Road XV Racer - Red with a kind of futuristic look to it. Bulkier than the older XV Racers.
- Baja Blazer Off Road XV Racer - Yellow with an exposed engine and a metal front bumper.
- Mudd Runner Off Road XV Racer - Blue and slender. All of the Off Roads are bulkier and have huge tires. They supposedly go through water and mud too.
- Fire Eater II #611 - Red plastic fire truck with a cheap looking unpainted base and ladder, a China car.
- Commando #601 - Red with gold and black tampos, it's an all metal truck from China. It's pretty cool too.
