Joseph Kenville
I am currently working on linking Joseph Kenville into the Quenneville tree. I have gathered quite abit of information on Joseph but so far have not found the names of his parents or his exact date and place of birth.
This is some of what I have found out so far about Joseph Kenville:
- born Oct / Nov either 1822, 1826 or 1835
- traveled overland in 1852 from Michigan
- was part owner of a mine in Nevada in 1860
- married America Baker on 1 June 1862 in Nevada
- Joseph was naturalised in Oct 1864 in Nevada
- in 1867 Joseph was the proprietor of the stageline to Dayton, Nevada
- also in 1867 Joseph took up homestead land in Santa Cruz Co, California
- Joseph and America had nine children born from 1863-1891
- Joseph died in Santa Cruz, California on 4 Jan 1911
