It does, like said, animated Bitmap Transitions.
Okay, that's cool, but what does that mean ?
It mean's just that, bitmap transitions. On the moment, the component does stretches, slides, zooms and pushes. I would like to put fades in the next version(s) but I'm a little stuck on the technical part, if anybody out there can help me, please Mail.
Good, Bitmap Transitions thus, must be difficult to use and hard to code.
On the contrary :You define two Bitmaps ( or a bitmap and a color ) and choose a transition type, like say StretchFromLeft. Then on Runtime you just use the GO method. That's al there's to it. You can examine the sample program to learn almost everything about the Component.
Does it do anything else exept Bitmap transitions ?
Well, yes, of coarse. You can use it as a regular Timage Component, but with added functionallity. By example, the TImage's "stretch" property becomes replaced by the "autosize" property in the TTransitionEffect Component. The Autosize property allows you to set the width property and let the component calculate the height. It also works the other way round : set the height, get the width. This asures that your proportions are right. The autosize property is just one of the enhancements.
Sounds expensive
You obviously haven't read the Title, it says FREEWARE, with other words, you pay nada.
