Informations about the controlers of the WSA1

The WSA1 includes totaly 5 realtime controlers to influence the sounds or the DSP effect processors:

Three different wheels are able to control 5 different parameters.

The first wheel is normaly used for pitch bending and returns automaticaly to the centered position when leaving. The second wheel is normaly used for modulation and has no centered position. The third wheel has additional functions and it let you feel the center position but does not return to it by leaving. All three wheel can be routed to many destinations by programing them.

The fourth controler is the realtime controler for controling two different parameters.

This controler is designed as a ball you can move to all positions. It return to the centered position by leaving it. The realtime controler can control two different parameters by using its x-axis and y-axis.

The fifth controloler is the realtime creator for controling and editing two different parameters.

The realtime creator is the same as the realtime controler (described above) but without a automaticaly physical center function. It feels more soft than the realtime controler. The second difference to the realtime controler is, that it changes directly the programed parameters at the current sound. So you can write the changed sound as a new one. Four lamps arround the realtime creator indicates you the current used direction. If you press the attached RESET button, the parameters will be changed to the logical center position of this controler.

For controling sounds and DSP effects there are totaly 49 destinations.

For extended controling while playing you can choose 6 different and programable setups for the realtime controler and the realtime creator by pressing the corresponding key on the WSA1.

As all controlers send their parameters by MIDI you can record and playback all controler actions on your sequenzer.
