From a comp.sys.unisys posting:
Praim is a manufacturer of IBM compatible peripherals
with a rich history in system integration work. As such, we have frequently
created products that replicated the function of a device that had been
retired and was no longer available.
One of the customer sites where we had performed this type of work in the past approached us during the last half of 1998 regarding the possibility to provide new CTOS diskless workstations. We worked with them and also spoke with Unisys in order to craft a hardware platform that could perform correctly in this operating system environment. We have now successfully completed the beta testing of the new hardware and have a product that is immediately ready for shipping.
If you need a data sheet or pricing on the Praim P2000 diskless workstation for CTOS environments, please contact our US office at your convenience.
As the P2000 is based on a PC, you are able to also use it as a Thin Client (Winframe or Microsoft Terminal Server) or even as a IBM 3270/5250 terminal.
