Dear Robin Shou,
My name is Robyn too, only I'm a girl. My last name is Sanders, and I think your really cool. I'm 10 years old, and Ive seen mortal kombat a millon times!! My mom and dad baut it for me cuz I watched so much. I think you arre really awsome and I cant wait to see you in another movie. My dad has Estern Heros, but he sais Im not old enough to watch it yet. So soon I get to see it. I cant wait. Thanks for letting me say hi andrea.
love Robyn Sanders. (June 7th, 1998)
Dear Robin,
I'm Eugene Simphere. I just wanted to write a brief note to say that I think you are doing a great job and I hope you continue to do more and more movies. I met you once back in 97 with my son, and I have to say I am completely impressed with how kind you were. Most stars are stand offish, but you were truly a kind person. Especially to my son who worships you. (He's seven now and his name is Todd.) Keep up the great work and get out there and do more movies. (Especially ones I can see with my kids. They love you.)
Eugene (Emailed June 1st, 1998)
Dear Mr. Shou,
I didn't know if you perfer Robin or Mr. Shou, so I went with the most polite. I'm Erica. When I emailed Andrea about her site she told me I could do this and she'd post it for me. I really liked that idea, so here I am writing. I'm a 15 year old Highlschooler in New York. I really enjoy your work because I myself am Asian and I feel it's about time someone got out there and put Asians in the lime light as more than just Karate Kicking bad guys. I really think you're doing a wonderful Job. My boyfriend Mike is a Martial Artist in Akido, and also looks up to you as a Martial artist. He is always trying to copy your moves to impress his master instructor. But he hasn't mastered them yet. Well anyway. Keep up the good work, see you IN the movies.

Dear Robin,
Greetings from Oklahoma. Amazed that you have fans out here? Well, get ready for a shock, not only do you, but I am writing this letter for about 10 others I go to college with who think you are the coolest. and I'm sure there are more! My name is Robert Brown, and I'm a 23 year old student majoring in Theater of all things. (Minoring in Criminal law so I can be a police officer as a fall back career in case my theater career doesn't take off.) We all just want to say, great job, and keep it up. One more thing, Why aren't you in more movies and stuff? Get out there and do something!! You're too good to be sitting back. Get a new agent who'll get you out there for crying out loud!! (tho I hear you're in the outer limits. Cool) Take care,
Rob. (June 7, 1998)
Dear Robin,
This is too cool, I hope you get this. my name is David Kendal, and I'm a 25 year old Texan. I really enjoy your work, especially Mortal Kombat. I love Martial Arts, I was thinking of even joining a form of Martial arts myself. Just can't figure out which I'd like more. I just wanted to say you kick serious butt...well you know what I wanted to say, but Andrea said I can't because there are younger readers. I understand that. But you do. You're a thousand times better than Chuck Norris, and Jean-Claude Van Damme. The Magazines were right when they called you the next Bruce Lee. Actually, I think you're better.
Dave Kendal (Texas) (Emailed June 2,1998)
Dear Robin
I just wanted to take the time to say that I think you're really cool, and that I appreciate all the work you do for all of us to enjoy. Keep up the good work!! You're the best. Jackie Chan has nothing on you man!! Andrea, sorry about our fan fiction. We just didn't like that last chapter. Sorry for taking so long to update it. We'll get it to you right away!!

To: Robin From: A guy
Hi Robin. My name is Guy. No really. Guy. My parents fault I guess. I'm a 22 year old college student studying Wu Shu as well. Just started maybe 2 1/2 months ago. I was a black belt in Karate which I started when I was about 16, and decided to learn another discipline to further myself in my Martial arts. I really admire you're abilities as a Martial artist and as a star. I think it's cool that you work on so many things and never limit yourself. Andrea is right when she says your a guy to look up too. I hope you get the fan letter I wrote you. (My little brother is dying for you to see his picture of you. Its crayon, he's 9, but it's a big deal for him.) Good page Andrea. Keep up the good work. Like the frames.
**GUY**

Marky L. (Age 14)
Hey Robin. Great Job on Nightmares. I couldn't pass up this chance to say that. I saw you signature in the book and hope you see this if you visit again. Your awsome. Just wish there were more sites on you. Once college is underway and I'm in the swing of the college thing sort of speak. I have been tampering with the idea of starting a site on you. So, hope by then you cut a big movie deal I can rave about.
Sincerely, Dave P. Weisen (21)
Robin
Loved the outerlimits. I taped it and watch it all the time. I think it is the best episode of the show I've ever seen. And I've seen most of them, including some of the older ones. How did you like playing that character? It was totally cool you were the best on the show. Just thought I'd tell you.
Dear Robin
Great Job!!

To Robin Shou
My name is Tamerya Johnston. I'm a 27 year old mother and housewife. With a 2 year old baby, my husband and I enjoy our quiet time together watching your movies. When we're looking for excitement, we watch our outerlimits episode we taped, or Mortal Kombat. When the baby has been a little handful, we usually watch Beverly Hills Ninja to calm our nerves. Thank you for the quiet moments Robin. With a two year old...trust me, my husband and I thank you very, VERY much. By the way. Our daughter Says "Rob foo cool!" (She means Robin Shou of course.) And my husband Lucas and I are expecting our next in 5 months. If its a boy, we are going to name it Robin. I think that is such a nice name. So thanks for the baby name idea too.
Tamerya J.
Dear Robin,
I can't believe I'm writing to you. This is so exciting. I really hope you read this. I was looking at the guestbook, and I saw your name. if you are the one who really did sign, maybe you'll read this too. Sadly, This is my boyfriend's internet. I don't have an email address of my own, Nor do I have the internet...yet at least. Soon maybe. So I guess you won't be able to respond even if you do read this, but at least you'll know that I am glad you are getting more attention. I'm sick to death of hearing about Jackie Chan and seeing his movies. He's always got one out. It's like, geez, give it a rest! And when you go online, you never see many pages on Jet Li, or you. Finally my boyfriend went on line and said, Dee dee, (My nickname. My real name is Dedra) You've got to see this!! I couldn't believe how fast your popularity is FINALLY growing!! And looking at this site with all the dedications to you, and letters, I'm so happy finally you're getting the recognition you deserve after all of your hard work. It's about Time!! I think you're the best. Even better than Jet Li. (Whose also pretty cool.) As soon as I get the internet hooked in my dorm, my boyfriend said he'd help me start a web page on you. And I'm getting my other Robin Shou friends to do the same!!
Deda Meyers (19)
Dear Robin
Just wanted to say great job. I really like your acting, and think you're really cool. Keep up the good work, and stay real.
Tom (16yrsold.)
Robin,
Great job on Nightmares. My friend Mike Taped it for me cause I don't have ShowTime. It Rocked!! Dude, I really want to say something about how cool it was, but I don't want to give the ending away for anyone waiting to see it. So lets just say, way cool. You're best yet. Looking forward to Mortal Kombat 3, if there is one...I just hope it's more out there than MK2...I mean advertising wise. I almost missed the 2nd one, cause I didn't know it was out. But it was cool! Just didn't like the new Raiden, and Kitana was kind of a flake this time. (I love Talisa Soto, Don't get me wrong) But I hope she's not in the third movie. Her character was way flaky the last movie, and it ruined Kitana for the next. Sandra Hess was a good Sonya, but she wasn't as big of a babe as Bridgette Wilson!! Anyway. If you're in the movie though, I'm sure it'll rock. For all the bad reviews some gave MK2 based on these characters, almost all the critics said Robin Shou still has the stuff to save a bad film and make it good. Congrats bud.
Dan "The Man" Davis (19)
Tyler McKinsey Here Robin. Hi. I just wanted to say Great Job on all that you've been doing. I really admire you're talents. I am also studying the discipline of Wu Shu, though I am just a beginner and not as advanced as you are. I just want to say you have remarkable Martial arts skills, and I am hoping to live up to your image and be as good as you one day. Thanks for setting up the way for me.
Ty (23years Old.)
Robin,
My name is Erica Stevens-Gusterson. I recently got married, and I love it. My only regret is not being able to swoon over you. (At least not in front of my husband. **Wink**) I just wanted to take this chance to say great job, and hope to see you in a feature film in the near future. When I emailed Andrea, she responded with a question she thought she'd like to know. And I agree. Have you ever thought of doing Children's films, like live action films or being the voice of a cartoon character? You'd be great...and I'd love my future children to grow up watching you.
Erica (21)
Dear Robin,
Hi, I just wanted to say you're the cutest guy in the world!! I can't believe all my friends are swooning over Leonardo Dicaprio, the wanna be teen sex symbol of the 90's when there's a real hunk like you around. I've converted most of my friends to being die hard Robinites as we call ourselves. I think you're the greatest, And I can't believe you're 38. I am sure that's got to be a mistake, or a joke. you don't look more than 22!!
Samantha (age 15)
Robin,
You're awesome, just wanted to say hi, and keep up the grate work. Wish there were more sites on you...but Isee that happening in the near future. I know I'm going to make one soon. (When I learn how.)
Todd (I'm 12)
Dear Robin,
I really enjoyed watching the OuterLimits. I've seen the same actors doing many different episodes in the OuterLimits. Like I think it's Beau Bridges? For example. I know it's one of the Bridges. Maybe you could do that too. You should be doing more. Only I wish it could be on regular tv. my boyfriend and I had to hop to his uncles house to see it cause neither of us have Showtime at ours.

Hey Robin.
My name is Danielle Rossario. My husband and I are big fans of yours. We just got internet access this past year, and were learning how to search the web engines like excite when we found a site that linked to here. Andrea, you should really put your site in search engines. It's a good site. I'm glad we got the information on you. It was really interesting to read. Sorry to hear about all the aches and pains you accrued filming Mortal Kombats 1 and 2. Just to let you know, from where we stand, it was worth it cause you did great!!
Danielle and Fransico Rossario
Dear Mr. Shou,
my name is katie. I'm 10 years old and I think your the coolst martil artist Ive ever seen. I love the way you ran up the wall and kicked the bad guy in the head and stuff. that was really cool. I want to learn karatee but my mom said not till my birthday in November, then she will let me try it out at a school that gives 2 free lessons. if i like it she said I may be able to go. so that would be cool to get as good as you. Thanks. By
Katie
Robin,
great job, love the official site, this site is really cool too. Lots of hard work put into it. I really liked Mortal Kombat, and it's nice getting to know about the star of the movie. I'll come back and check out this site a lot to see the changes. Seems like you always got something different here...but what happened to the page with the fan fiction? Some of the poems and stories were cool! can we still send something in if we want to?
Frank (20)
Dear Robin.
Violet is blue, Rosey is me, you are my hero, and always will be.
love Rosey (I'm 12)
Dear Robin
I'm a big fan of yours. I've followed your Hong Kong movie career as well as your Hollywood, and I have to say, if you would only do more movies, you'd make it big!! You're awesome!!
Scott (23 of New Jersey)
Hey Robin Shou,
I just wanted to take the time and say I think you are the greatest martial artist ever! Have you ever competed? Man I wish I could do the stuff you do! I'd love to be an action movie star, but I'm no where near in as good physical condition as you are. Keep up the great work. Wish there were more sites on you. Maybe if you start doing more films, there'd be more out there.
Michael Christianson (29)
Hello Robin. I'm Chad Conners and I just wanted to say hi. I'm not one for writing fan letters or even asking in depth questions or anything. But I just wanted to take the chance to say great job, keep it up, hope to see you in a movie in the near future. You really should do more like a lot of these posts say to.
Chad (38yrs.)
First off Andrea, Thanks for the Mortal Kombat series information. I will keep an eye on Paolo Montelban. He is cute. But not as cute as our Robin of course. (Don't let my fiancee know that). But I did see his version of Cinderella and thought he was a wonderful actor, can't see him in a Martial arts, non musical show. He's such a good singer, wonder why he's taken a job like this. Bet he'll be good though. Now to Robin Shou.... I really REALLY wish that you were going to be in this series. My fiancee and I love your mortal kombats and think that no one could do the role of Liu Kang Justice but you. Fortunately, it seems Kung Lao is the main character, not Liu, so at least we don't have to suffer through whoever will be ruining your character that much. You're a great actor and person. hope to see you in something soon.
The Second Michaela to post (Thought my name was rare) (Age 19)
Dear Robin
Great Job, Keep it up.
Carl (??)
Dear Robin,
I've been a Mortal Kombat fan for about 7 years. Eversince I watched the movie, I have never seen anyone so talented as you. I mean it. You are a brilliant martial artist and a great actor than Steven Segal or Jackie Chan.Notonly talanted , you are also dashing and romantic. I love watching the wayTalisa Soto kisses you at the end of the movie, MK Annihilation. That was so sweet. Ihad to admit, she is one lucky actress. So anywayz, see you in your nextmovie.Keep up the good work ! Also thankx Andrea!
Love, Cindy ( 15 years old )
Robin

We'd love to talk to you from time to time. You're an awesome actor, and this may be as close to meeting you as some of us will get...so it would be cool if you could do that. Anyway. Dear Robin, I hope this letter finds you well. Just wanted to email and say that you are a magnificent man in body and manner. I first saw you on the first Mortal Kombat and have forever since been looking for you in other movies. Well, I shall make this short so as to not take up too much of your time. Dear Robin Shou,
I just wanted to say that I think you're a really awesome guy. I really
hope there is a Mortal Combat 3 because it would be so cool to see you in another movie. I
don't know if you will ever even read this, but if you do, you have my support always.
I've seen all of your movies except for the one that was on tv a long time ago, City war,
Estern heros and Black Cat 2. Tiger Cage 2 was great. You are a cool bad guy, but you make
a better good guy. You are just too good to not be a good guy. I loved Outer limits, and
hope you do more. Is there anything else in the works? I hope so. (specilly if its Mortal
Combat 3.) Your Fan Timothy Shou (no Relation.) By the
way, I'm 15.
Robin, My name is Patrick. I'm from Ohio and I
just want to tell you that you are a great acot
and that you are one of my favorite Martial artists. I have seen some of your Hong Kong
Movies and think they are really cool. The Martial arts in Hong Kong Films are great. I'm
glad they took the Hollywood look and mixed it with the Hong Kong Martial arts to come up
with
Mortal Kombat. That movie Rocked. I even liked Mortal kombat II. (Special effects weren't
that good
But that wasn't your fault. You did a great job!) Keep it up. Any new movies on the way?
-Patrick R.
Dear Robin, I'm so excited to get the chance to
write this to you
I hope you read it. I know you are busy, but I think
you are a great actor with lots of talent, and the cutest guy alive. I
didn't believe everyone when they said your 38. you look like your just
24 or something. I bet Martial arts and healthy living keeps you Young.
Thats what a Martial artist once said when someone said he looked younger than
He was...that ma keeps you young. (But you are cuter than him.) Take Care,
Please visit the site soon and write to us. -April (16/f)
!!ROBIN SHOU YOU ARE THE MAN!!
-Carl
Robin, Keep up the great work, See you in
the movies, You're the best!
-Shane Augustine
Dear Robin,
hi. I just wanted to write a short letter to say that I think your the
best actor, and I'm your biggest fan. I wanted to dedicate a song to you, but the
webmaster said she's having a hard time locating it which means its not on Midi yet. Its
called There's music in you. Its really cool cause it talks about believing in yourself
and knowing that you can do so much in this world. And you do. You entertain and make
people happy. I know you've done that for me and my family. My older brother, and little
sister are also fans of yours. And we never agree on anything. I hope you do another movie
one day. And maybe if there is another MK like people say there will be, if there is an
autograph session to promote the movie, i'll definately be there! - Tessa (17/f)
