To quickly reach the utility that lets you fiddle with your computer's volume, go to Control Panel/Multimedia. Open the Audio tab. Place a check mark in the box next to the line "Show volume control on the taskbar." A speaker icon will appear in your tray; double-click on it to adjust your
volume controls.
