My regular gaming group has gone their seperate ways over the past two years, and I've been feeling that empty space that only the dedicated will ever experience. My first attempt at a PBeM was an almost unmittigated disaster, due mostly to my lack of regular internet access and crushing amounts of coursework. Said PBeM was such a failure that I gave up on the genre for good, or so I thought. |

Then I received an email. The email came from a total stranger who called herself Seacret_Sorrows. She apologised for taking so long to contact me, but she'd seen my PBeM homepage, and was there still a chance she could play? |

I laughed so much, the librarian almost threw me out. Somehow, Seacret_Sorrows had stumbled across the page I'd posted at Geocities almost two years before. With that kind of encouragement, I could refuse the challenge no longer and Red_Snow was born. This game is dedicated to her, to all who hope against hope, and to Ess, who put up with my late night fears, doubts, questions, and general mumblings." |
