City Slickers formed in the
fall of 1991 and compete every
year in Mid-Atlantic District (M-AD)
and Southern Division barbershop quartet competitions.  They  won the division contest four years in a row beginning 1997 and have placed as high as 3rd at the M-AD District contest.  In 1998 the quartet was inducted into the Virginians Quartet Hall of Fame.   In March 2002, they finished 5th at the M-AD International Preliminary contest and were crowned the M-AD Senior Quartet Champions. The following January they competed at the International Senior Quartet Championships in Albuquerque, NM, their first appearance of any kind at the International level and came away with a 4th Place Bronze medal.  Shortly thereafter the Slickers retired from both competition and performing.    See below for info to order their cd.
